"We love how this book doesn't just teach about cleaning up, recycling, and keeping the environment clean but is also such a wonderful and heart-warming story."

Grey Matters, October 2020

"It is a vital reminder that a small group of people, inspired by a need to bring a change, is the only prerequisite to save the planet - indeed a poignant reminder that "We are the change we are waiting for."

"This was easily one of my favourite Indian published children's books of 2020

"A powerful story about how an intent, an idea and an initiative can achieve extraordinary outcomes. The mix-media illustrations trigger an earthly sensorial effect. "

The transformation of a gloomy street to a blooming one was remarkable, emotional and inspiring and we enjoyed this journey a lot. Yes, the miracle did happen on Sunderbaag Street. We loved this lovely sweet story and it’s great that it comes with such a meaningful message.

Kids Book Cafe, March 2021

The Miracle on Sunderbaag Street turned out to be one of the most beautiful and heartwarming reads, for both me as well as my four year old.

The reader is taken on an amazing journey of discovering recycling as well as looking after the environment, all of it woven together with an incredibly tender, heart touching story.

House Full of Books, June 2021

"How she [Zara] comes out of her grief and gets involved in this task of transforming the dump yard to the beautiful garden that it used to be forms the rest of the story. The beautiful illustrations complement the story so well."

"..a gem of a book"

Toka Box, November 2020

"This is a beautiful book about encouraging our children to find their hidden potential and to cherish their individuality."

Bookedforlife, November 2020

"How can parents gently lead their kids to discover themselves? This is the poignant theme that runs through this apparently simple book, titled Just Like Papa.

The entire mood of the book, through the words, the theme and the illustrations is very contemporary and hence will resonate with the modern reader."

Kidsstoppress, KSP Book Club, Feb 2021

"This book tells the little ones to follow their heart- do what they like and teaches them about being passionate. Doesn't sound too preachy, but with simple lines, engaging illustrations and a nice take-home-message, this one will guarantee a good bonding time with the kids, when you read to/with them."

ourbookishabode, April 2021

"It's a beautiful story about acceptance and following your dreams. It’s also a good reminder that children may have different interests and dreams than their parents"

mumsandstories, July 2021

"The book beautifully explains what one can do with perseverance or what it means to ‘follow your heart’. Imagination and even the mind block is discussed that is understandable for kids."

“We love picture books that have Indian classical music at the centre of the story. The Magic in My Fingers is special because it is a great narrative that has the young reader waiting to know more...”

Grey Matters, June 2021

This delightful story is loosely based on an incident in the life of the brilliant Annapurna Devi, one of our finest sitar and surbahar (bass sitar) players of Hindustani classical music. The last page of the book provides us a little more insight into her life. Truly thankful to the author for picking this gem of a musician to spotlight.

KSP Book Club Pick, June 2021

"The Magic In My Fingers is a good read for your kids to teach them to be strong and confident in what they believe in and to pursue their dreams, like this legend did."

One Story a Day, July 2021

"...this book has been the raagam-tanam-pallavi of this week’s reads! If my little one loves the book, it’s becomes a family favourite almost immediately with everyone being asked to read to her"

"Aided by wonderfully striking illustrations, we love this book as its works on so many levels- from the very relatable reluctance to music practice (I deal with it every day!) to the wonder of a prodigious talent, from the intuitive understanding of a sister of her brother's mind  to the discovery of one’s true potential and of course the exhilarating power of music! A must buy for any music loving family!"

eShe, August 2021

"...my family and I are always looking out for engaging, gender-neutral, environmentally conscious and educative children’s storybooks. Here’s a list of 22 beautiful books for kids and tweens that we discovered recently."

"With beautiful illustrations by Nayantara Surendranath and production designer Kanimozhi A, this is the real-life story about the young Annapurna Devi, the daughter of Allauddin Khan, one of India’s most prominent teachers of classical music."

Housefullofbooks, October 2021

"A charming tale inspired by true events of how a young girl discovered the hidden magic in her fingers."

"...Overall a lovely story which is so motivating."
